Additionally, LoonyLearn’s terms of use and privacy policy are adapted for elementary school children. Teachers assign their students’ login information. We do not collect student personal information or sell data to other companies. This ensures your students’ privacy and online security.
Our educational games are created to reinforce your teaching by repeating the same concepts. As your students progress through games, they will repeat the same concepts. When a mistake occurs, the problem is flagged and will reappear until the student solves it correctly. The more your students play the game, the more they see the problems, and the better they learn. Teachers can look at data for a whole class or a single student. On the class summary page, teachers see an overview of the class’s performance. This includes the percentage of students who have completed the assignment and if the class is meeting proficiency. On an individual student’s page, teachers see specific data such as what mistakes a student has made.
While you can view data on your teacher dashboard, there are other ways to track data. The data gathered from the games can be exported to a Microsoft Excel document. We want you to have access to your data even when you do not have access to LoonyLearn. This data is useful when discussing student progress with parents or other teachers.
As a company, we want LoonyLearn to be accessible to teachers. We understand that paying for classroom resources can be tricky, which is why we give you options. Teachers can pay for the subscription with school funds or try one of the methods presented below.
LoonyLearn offers the option for parents to sponsor a teacher. On our homepage is a link for parents to help teachers pay for their LoonyLearn subscription. Parents can choose to pay for a month or a full year of a teacher’s account. If you want to use LoonyLearn and cannot pay using school funds, consider asking parents in your weekly or monthly newsletter.
While grants take more time than asking your school or parents for assistance, they are another option for funding.
